I look forward to another amazing year at Hidden Hills. This will be my tenth year teaching and my sixth year at Hidden Hills. My previous teaching years were in Los Angeles. I received my undergraduate degree from Cal State Northridge. I received my teaching credential as well as my Masters in Education from Pepperdine University.
I believe it is important to build a foundation where children can explore and understand the joys of learning. To teach is to enable children success in learning by using different modalities in the classroom, and to give each child the confidence they need to work to their full potential.
In my free time, I enjoy Greek folk dancing. I have run a program that consists of six dance groups beginning at the age of four all the way up to adults. Besides that I enjoy hiking with my pooch, watching movies, traveling, and shopping.

I am ecstatic to
be on the Hidden Hills team. Having worked with children since I was
13-years-old myself, being an elementary school teacher is something
I truly love. It is an inspiring challenge and a great joy to facilitate
an environment in which students and learning are valued.
Before earning a teaching credential at CSU Hayward, I earned a Bachelor's
Degrees in Rhetoric (the study of how we communicate ideas) and Theater
at UC Berkeley. So I am continuously fascinated by the connections between
writing, the performing arts, and strong literacy instruction.
In addition to teaching, I enjoy reading, eating, and watching baseball.
On occasion, I have quite a bit of fun by eating while reading about
baseball. I've always assumed it's much easier than playing baseball
while eating a book.

Hidden Hills is
such an amazing place and I am privileged to be part of this learning
environment. I look forward to a great school year with this amazing
group of explorers and investigators. I am new to Hidden Hills this
year and to the community in San Ramon, and appreciate how welcoming
and helpful everyone has been.
I received my Bachelor's
from UC Davis and my teaching credential from St. Mary's College. I
previously taught third and fourth grade in Concord, CA.
I enjoy spending
time with my family; hiking, skiing, exploring, and traveling! Chasing
around my active two-year old son is also on the top of my list. I also
love photography and creating albums of my many adventures.

family and I am very excited to be back in the classroom teaching again.
I am looking forward to a great year with my students as well as the
supportive staff and great 3rd grade level team members!
In my spare time,
I love spending time with my two girls! I also enjoy running, hiking,
swimming, snowboarding
.any outdoor activity!!!

I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Hidden Hills community! I love teaching because of the energy, curiosity, and excitement for learning that elementary students bring to the classroom. It is so rewarding to see the growth that students make each day, as well as throughout the school year.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my daughter, as well as reading, cooking, walking, and visiting with family and friends.

I'm very excited to be a part the wonderful Hidden Hills community teaching second grade. This will be my fourth year of teaching, my second at HH. I previously taught second grade at Buena Vista Elementary in Walnut Creek. I believe that working with kids is the best job in the world.
I am originally from Golden, Colorado and yes, I do ski and snowboard in my free time (I get asked that question a lot). However, I love the life that northern California has to offer. I received my BA from the University of Northern Colorado and I am currently working on my Masters in Teaching Leadership from St. Mary's College.
In my life outside the classroom, I have two dogs who I take all over the Bay Area. We like to go hiking and exploring through the Redwoods. You can also find us trying out new beaches up and down the coast. I also love to travel as much as I can. My goal is to reach all the continents before I am 30 years old!

I am so happy to be back at Hidden Hills for another great year! This is my second year teaching third grade and I absolutely love it. I am excited to be working with such a wonderful third grade team and look forward to a fun-filled year! I'm most enthusiastic about math and love creating new ways to teach it to my students that makes it fun for everyone! I also enjoy Writer's Workshop and getting to read all of the great stories that children have to tell!
In my spare time, I enjoy being at home with my husband. We spend most of our weekends in the backyard doing work! But, we also love taking our dog on walks and to the park and just being outside. When the weather's just right, I also enjoy playing golf or just going to the range to hit some golf balls!

I am so excited to be a Hidden Hills Hawk. Before this year I taught at Golden View Elementary School for 3 years. All the staff, parents and children have been very welcoming and I look forward to an exciting year.
I received my B.A. in Psychology and my Masters of Education from UCLA. I started teaching in 1987. I’ve been fortunate enough to have taught in Northern and Southern California as well as Minnesota. I love teaching and am so glad to be back in the classroom with the children.
In the little amount of free time that I have, I like to read, swim and visit with friends. I am kept very busy by my three children (Emma-9, Zachary-14 and Jake-17) and their sporting events.
